Modball Rally Start-line 2012

Well then, it’s been a while since I covered an event, been struggling to find time to do anything blog related but made an effort, got up early and went down to London town. Weather was a bit dull and I was was tired, very tired, London is obviously getting geared up for the Olympics and the flags added nicely to the occasion.

All cars were parked up nicely, it was a bit cramped on Rupert St (Picadilly), not great for photos but created a good atmosphere.

As usual a great mix of cars with everything from everyday runners, like Audi TTs, Astra VXR and BMWs, although they are M3s;

A decent crowd had gathered by the time kick off came, which was good, the rain held off as everyone watched the cars depart, unfortunately no crazy burnouts this year as the Police were loitering, spoil sports.

So another Modball Rally is underway, I look forward to seeing the footage and photos from this year, they’re all probably having a blast. I’m a bit jealous really, oh well maybe next year.
